Hour 1 of Ottawa Now for Wed. October 29th, 2025

October 29, 2025

The city’s Finance and Corporate Services Committee is scheduled to hear from 88 delegations this afternoon, as the future of Lansdowne 2.0 is heavily discussed over the coming days and weeks. These delegates are sharing their views on the $418.8 million project, levelling criticism and concerns. If you had a seat at the table, what would your main questions be? Do you think this project is money well spent? Kristy Cameron poses those questions to Toon Dressen, the President of Architects DCA and a former President for the Ontario Association of Architects. Over in Los Angeles, all they are talking about is this year’s World Series, as the Dodgers and Blue Jays transform the Fall Classic into a best-of-3 setting. CTV’s Sean Leathong joins us from Chavez Ravine ahead of tonight’s Game 5. But first, we bring you up to speed on today’s top headlines.
