Pinecrest eastbound onramp to Highway 417 will be closed, starting Saturday, May 9

The eastbound onramp from southbound Pinecrest Road to Highway 417 will be closed starting Saturday, May 9, and expected to reopen on Tuesday, July 28. The closure is required to accommodate construction activities for the Stage 2 O-Train project.

Detour

Motorists travelling southbound on Pinecrest Road towards the eastbound Highway 417 are encouraged to use Carling Avenue and travel eastbound to Woodroffe Avenue where they can access eastbound Highway 417.

Anticipated Impacts

Motorists should follow all detour routes, observe traffic control signage, and adhere to posted speed limits. 

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
