The Toronto Blue Jays placed Addison Barger on the 10-day injured list Monday with right elbow inflammation ahead of their game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Meanwhile, left-handed pitcher Eric Lauer was designated for assignment after falling to 1-5 with a 6.69 earned-run average after allowing six earned runs in Sunday's 6-1 loss to the Angels.
