This is campaign started in Nov 2010 to protest the construction of a landfill in a shale quarry locted a few kilometers uphill from Russell Village.  The site was then changed to Boundary Road and Hwy 417.  We found both sites to be unsuitable for a landfill for Industrial, Commercial and Institutional and construction and demolition waste.
