But first, it’s time to tackle today’s Question of the Day. Here in Canada, hundreds of schools have banned the presence of peanuts and tree nuts in their classrooms. It’s a precaution to protect students and staff members who are vulnerable to these products, and this policy has been in place for decades. In fact, over 500,000 children are dealing with some sort of food allergy. However, a new batch of research has questioned the effectiveness of blanket, site-wide food restrictions.
