Student nutrition programs across the province have been forced to make some tough choices lately, stretching their budgets just to feed students in need. Today, the Coalition for Healthy School Food is asking the Ford government to double its funding. Kristy Cameron chats with Sarah Keyes, the Coalition for Healthy School Food’s Ontario Chapter Coordinator. Plus, a pair of California residents have stumbled upon an abandoned storage unit, stockpiled with items that are allegedly tied to American hip-hop royalty.
The council said the actions taken were due to Mayor Ron Paull jeopardizing the city’s relationship with Indigenous communities.

Halifax Regional Police say they have arrested a man who was the subject of an emergency alert and believed to be armed and dangerous.Forty-nine-year-old David John Campbell was arrested without incident after he turned himself in to police Wednesday in Dartmouth.He is charged with assault, uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death, and failing to comply with the conditions of a bail order.
