A group that helps people with disabilities and autism find employment in Newfoundland and Labrador has had a massive funding cut by the federal government.
A witness at the trial of a former Ottawa firefighter charged with choking an openly non-binary colleague during a dispute over who'd wash the dinner dishes painted a starkly different picture of the accused than the one the complainant described to police, who initially investigated the incident as a hate crime.
