Family doctor program at Queen's finishes 1st year

Queen's University launched a new program through its family medicine program last fall to combat the ongoing shortage of family doctors, and two first-year students say the hands-on experience has been invaluable.

Federal officials say 109 kilograms of elvers were seized at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Wednesday.The seizure was carried out by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans in conjunction with members of the Canada Border Services Agency.The elvers were slated to be shipped overseas.
