Treasury Board has a long history of flexible work policies. Flexible hours of work; the compressed work week; and work-at-home on a case-by case basis, dependent on employer needs. During the COVID crisis, both employer and employees responded with blanket work-at-home policies in order to keep government services in operation (unlike many other employers, who had to shut down completely for lengthy periods).
