Let’s get physical Ottawa and become Canada’s Most Active Community

Take part in the ParticipACTION Community Challenge to help make Ottawa Canada’s Most Active Community and win $100,000 to support local sports and fitness. Feature story The ParticipACTION Community Challenge is back and we need your help to make our city Canada’s Most Active Community. This national physical activity and sport initiative encourages everyone in Canada to get active throughout the month of June. The most active community in Canada will win $100,000 to support local sports and fitness. There will also be prizes for the most active community in each province and territory, and prizes for organizations. Enjoy the many physical, social and mental health benefits of getting active together. To participate in the challenge, simply visit the ParticipACTION website to:
  • Register as an organization and track the programs and events delivered by your organization throughout June
  • Sign up as an individual and take the pledge to be active in your community this June
To help Ottawa get to the top spot, the City is offering free virtual activities throughout the month, led by expert instructors. Join us in a variety of workouts that cater to all levels and interests, from cardio to yoga.
