June 14, 2024
Andrew Pinsent is filling in for Kristy Cameron today, and we have a busy news cycle to sift through. According to the Canadian Press, the exact number of unhappy discharged patients is 424, albeit among a total list of 20,261 patients that switched long-term care facilities since late-2022. CanAge CEO Laura Tamblyn-Watts said that list of hundreds is a few hundred too many, especially when the refusal to move locations costs such a pretty penny. She joins the show in Hour 1. River Oak founder Trevor Jameson explains how it works.
