Ken Holland and the Edmonton Oilers are parting ways. In a statement Thursday, Jeff Jackson, the Oilers' CEO of hockey operations, thanked Holland for his time as general manager of the National Hockey League club.

Halifax Water says a boil-water advisory is in effect for the Halifax area and some surrounding communities.It says affected customers in Halifax, Beaver Bank, Middle and Lower Sackville, Hammonds Plains, Bedford, Timberlea, Spryfield and Herring Cove should boil all water for at least one minute before using it for consumption.
