The private lending firm that pushed Atlantic Canada's largest newspaper chain into insolvency says negotiations aimed have reached a critical phase.
Toronto police are investigating a "suspected hate-motivated offence" and believe the same person is responsible for both acts, which occurred just after 3 a.m. on Sunday.
