City of Ottawa to celebrate Franco-Ontarian Day with a flag raising ceremony at City Hall

The City of Ottawa will host a flag raising ceremony on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, in honour of Franco-Ontarian Day and the 49th anniversary of the Franco-Ontarian Flag.
This year’s event will be hosted by Mayor Mark Sutcliffe in collaboration with ACFO Ottawa. In addition to the flag raising, a proclamation will be presented to formally declare the day as Franco-Ontarian Day in Ottawa.
Residents are invited to attend the event. Standing room is available with accessibility accommodations, and paid parking is available underground at City Hall.
Location: Ottawa City Hall, Heritage Building (Elgin Street Entrance). In case of rain, inside City Hall at Jean Pigott Place.
Time: 8:30 to 9 am
