Jacob Hoggard’s sexual assault trial resumed this morning with a brief, emotional exchange during the continued cross-examination of his accuser.The complainant alleges Hoggard raped, choked, slapped and urinated on her in his hotel room after she attended his band’s concert and an after-party in Kirkland Lake, Ont., eight years ago.
Those with permanent residency status hold many of the same privileges as Canadian citizens, but they can't vote in elections or obtain a Canadian passport.
