What was intended as a temporary exhibit in Victoria's Fan Tan Alley will now be made permanent, and be named the Victoria Chinatown Museum.

Montreal police say the two people killed in a fire that ravaged a three-storey building in a historic part of the city were a woman from France and her seven-year-old daughter.Insp.
