Sod-turning ceremony to be held at site of Humboldt Broncos bus crash

A sod-turning ceremony is set to be held Saturday morning at the site of the deadly Humboldt Broncos bus crash in Saskatchewan.A committee comprising the players’ families, board members with the junior hockey team, city councillors and others says it is ready to move ahead with the first phase of building a permanent memorial at the crash site to honour the victims.The first phase will involve preparing the site, including earth moving, and the creation of pathways and a sitting area.
