Nearly a year after Bonnie Crombie became leader of the Ontario Liberals, the party is gearing up for a year-end fundraising push as it lags significantly behind Doug Ford’s Progressive Conservatives in both donations and in the polls, with the Premier mulling an early election call.Ms. Crombie, the former three-term mayor of Mississauga, took over the legislature’s third-place party last December after it suffered two disappointing election defeats that have left the Liberals with only nine seats.
