Police lay 149 charges after 18-month Ottawa drug network investigation

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) announced Thursday it had charged 17 people because of an 18-month investigation dubbed "Project Champion" to disrupt violent criminal drug networks.
The Liberal government and the NDP negotiated the substance of a pharmacare bill as part of their now-defunct supply-and-confidence agreement.
