Hour 3 of Ottawa Now for Tues. October 22nd, 2024

October 22, 2024
Most of you might remember Jane Philpott as a federal Cabinet Minister in the Trudeau Liberal government. Today, she is part of the Ontario government, led by Doug Ford and the Progressive Conservatives. Philpott will be serving as the Chair of Ontario’s Primary Care Action Team, a brand-new role and program that is designed to help connect every Ontarian to primary healthcare within the next five years. Dr. Dominik Nowak, the President of the Ontario Medical Association, hopes the recent move bears plenty of fruit for a system that badly needs it. But first, we tackle today's Question of the Day. Whether it be the events from 10 years ago, or something else entirely, what is the most horrific event you have ever witnessed? How has it changed you? If you feel compelled to share, text into the show and let us know.
