Metrolinx CEO Phil Verster to leave Ontario transportation agency after seven years

The head of Ontario’s embattled transportation agency Metrolinx is leaving the organization after seven years, the province announced Monday.Phil Verster, president and chief executive officer at Metrolinx since October, 2017, will be replaced in the role temporarily by Michael Lindsay, who currently leads Infrastructure Ontario. Mr. Lindsay will move over to Metrolinx next week and start as early as Dec. 16, the government said.
