Montreal police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 26-year-old man they suspect was involved in the abduction and attempted murder of a woman.In a news release, police say the suspect, identified as Abdennour Maalala, was last seen swimming out of a submerged vehicle in the Richelieu River in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, south of Montreal, on Friday. They say the woman was rescued from the vehicle by local police and firefighters.
