Amazon workers in the United States, along with workers in 19 other countries around the world, were on strike for the American holiday weekend. The annual service disruption, which is part of the ‘Make Amazon Pay’ movement, has since ended. It’s designed to convince the company to increase wages and allow workers to unionize, a very topical conversation in the midst of a heated labour dispute at Canada Post. We dig deeper in Hour 1.
