In Canada, Jan. 4 is National Ribbon Skirt Day. For two Indigenous seamstresses in New Brunswick, the skirts have significant meaning -- from empowerment to identity.
It has been a difficult stretch for Saskatoon’s Purrfect Cup Cat Café over the last month. On Monday, the café had their windows smashed for the second time in 30 days.
