As Ontarians await their $200 rebate cheques, one organization is urging residents to donate the funds, arguing that giving the money to local charities would have a far greater collective impact than if it stays in our pockets.
The Quebec Liberal Party says it won’t accept the candidacy of former Montreal mayor Denis Coderre for its vacant leader job.The party says in a statement today that its electoral committee has ruled that Coderre’s candidacy is inadmissible.
