Canadian colleges and universities are responding to a cash crunch brought on by Ottawa's cut to international student permits.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a recall due to a possible salmonella contamination of certain brands of eggs in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan and other possible provinces.The agency says the recall covers Compliments, Foremost, Golden Valley Eggs, IGA, no name and Western Family eggs.
