A 15-year-old boy was hit by a car this week in the Halifax area. The driver who hit him fled the scene, leaving the boy and family wondering how someone could do such a thing.

The district is bordered in the north by the Ottawa River, Kanata and Bells Corners to the west, a southern edge that includes the Canadian National Railway tracks/Hunt Club Road, and the Rideau River to the east.
