Pierre-Elliott Trudeau strolled through a run-of-the-mill Canadian blizzard on February 28th, 1984. This journey evolved into his iconic ‘walk in the snow’, as he would head to Parliament Hill and submit his resignation. Almost 41 years later, Canadians were calling for his son to do the exact same thing. This weekend, he did just that. This morning, he resigned. Canadian author Charles-Etienne Beaudry glances into an incoming period of turbulence for the country. He says he was promised a meeting with Trudeau and he still expects one. CFRA’s Chris Holski has more on that.
A total of 63 per cent of respondents said they feel very or somewhat confident that Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew is well-suited to deal with Donald Trump's economic policies.
