Canada’s top public health officer is warning of the potential for more measles infections and local transmission in the upcoming weeks as families head into the spring travel season amid a global rise in measles cases and dipping vaccination rates.In a statement Thursday, Dr. Theresa Tam reminded Canadians to ensure that their vaccinations are up-to-date prior to travelling for spring break, especially if visiting destinations where measles is currently circulating.
