Hour 3 of Ottawa Now for Thurs. March 6th, 2025

March 6, 2025
Earlier in today’s show, we talked about a series of controversial school boundary changes, courtesy of Ottawa’s largest school board. Consultations are being held tonight and a lot of frustrated parents are expected to voice their concerns in-person. Christine Burke, for example, is a mother of 2 kids who lives in Orleans. If these changes proceed, her youngest daughter will have to switch schools next Fall. She joins Kristy Cameron in Hour 3. Meantime, did you hear the story about a Conservative Senator who once dropped the gloves with Justin Trudeau? First of all, it was a friendly boxing match, not an actual fistfight. And no, it didn’t end well for Patrick Brazeau. Well, over 10 years later, he is challenging Donald Trump Jr. to a charity boxing bout. Is it good publicity or the worst possible time to ask? CFRA’s Chris Holski weighs in. And finally, we sift through the CFRA textboard and tackle today’s Question of the Day.
