The U.S. president on Tuesday escalated tariff threats against Canada, vowing to boost them on steel and aluminum. "It scares us, it scares families," says Hamilton union president Frank Crowder. But in the ever-evolving tariff controversy, Premier Doug Ford later said he'd suspend the electricity exports surcharge pending further talks.
