Canada has put a 25 per cent counter-tariff on a variety of steel and aluminum products, as well as other U.S. goods, in response to President Donald Trump's latest duties.

A veteran Regina police officer is charged with breach of trust and unauthorized use of a computer for allegedly using internal police databases to pursue personal relationships.Regina police say Sgt. Robert Eric Semenchuck was arrested and charged on Tuesday after an “extensive police investigation.” Police say the allegations were brought to police in early 2023 by a member of the public, at which time Mr. Semenchuck was suspended and lost access to the databases.
