And following his own meeting with U.S. officials, Ontario Premier Doug Ford suggested that Carney and Trump will have a 'better' relationship. And while no Canadian city will be immune to the impact of Trump’s tariffs, some economists say that Canada’s Capital might be better protected than others. According to her family, Jasmine Mooney was caught by I.C.E. officials earlier this month after she attempted to enter America via Mexico. Immigration experts have issued a stern warning to all of America’s visitors, fearing that this case is being used as an example of what the White House will do if others try the same thing.
