The office of Alberta Premier Danielle Smith is vehemently denying accusations that she asked the U.S. to interfere with Canadian federal politics, as comments Smith made during an interview with an American news outlet earlier this month made waves this weekend.

Starting Tuesday, April 1, southbound Greenfield Avenue will be closed between the Highway 417 on-ramp and Main Street, and southbound Main Street will be closed between Greenfield Avenue to Hawthorne Avenue.
The closures, which will be in effect until late summer 2025, are related to the ongoing construction for the Greenfield Avenue, Main Street, Hawthorne Avenue et al. reconstruction project.
To ensure safety for all, the road closures are required to allow for adequate space for the construction activity to take place.
