And while America’s big cheese is declaring April 2nd ‘Liberation Day’, reports suggest he could take it easy on certain industries once again. Kristy Cameron digs deeper with Flavio Volpe, the President of the Automotive Parts Manufacturing Association. Shifting gears to Day 3 of the federal election campaign, the Conservatives and Liberals are pledging to implement tax cuts if elected into office. What exactly are they offering, and how does each plan benefit Canadians? Do they offer enough financial relief to the everyday Canadian? We pose that question to David MacDonald, a Senior Economist at the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives.
