A lobbyist and former aide to Ontario Premier Doug Ford broke the law by failing to disclose his efforts to get clients’ lands removed from the protected Greenbelt and approaching government officials with whom he was friends, the province’s integrity watchdog says in a new report.Integrity Commissioner J. David Wake released a brief summary Monday naming Nico Fidani-Diker, Mr. Ford’s former executive assistant, for violating the Lobbyists Registration Act, but recommended no further sanction.
