Teen shot by police after Toronto traffic stop dies in hospital

Ontario’s police watchdog says a 16-year-old boy shot by Toronto police during a traffic stop has died in hospital.The Special Investigations Unit says the teen is from Toronto but did not release his name. It initially referred to him as a man.The SIU says police stopped a car near Sheppard Avenue and Bathurst Street around 11 p.m. on Sunday night for a traffic infraction.
