Closure of Laurier Avenue West from Bronson Avenue to Bay Street
May 9, 2025
Laurier Avenue West, between Bronson Avenue and Bay Street, will be temporarily closed from Tuesday, May 13 at 7 am to Thursday, May 15 at 10 pm.
This closure is required for road resurfacing and intersection construction work. In the case of inclement weather, the closure may extend to Friday May 16, at 10 pm.
Signage will be in place. Please plan ahead and allow for extra travel time.
Local access
Percy street will be temporarily converted to two-way traffic from Laurier Avenue West to Gloucester Street to accommodate local access to resident parking garages.
Detours
A westbound detour will be in place from Bay Street to Albert Street, to Bronson Avenue. An eastbound detour will be in place from Slater Street to Bay Street (northbound traffic) or Lyon Street North (southbound traffic). Local traffic access will be maintained.
Pedestrians and cyclists
Pedestrian and cycling access will be maintained through the closure area.
