Eby warns against jumping to conclusions about Lapu Lapu suspect’s care before attack

British Columbia Premier David Eby said there’s a disconnect between what health authorities say about the prior condition of the suspect in the Vancouver festival attack and the reality of what happened.But Eby also said at a news conference Monday that people shouldn’t jump to the conclusion that those involved in the care of Adam Kai-Ji Lo did anything wrong.He noted that the province is committed to a full public inquiry to answer those questions if they are not addressed at a criminal trial.
Although the suspect in a firearm discharge in Petawawa in March remains at large, the investigation of that incident has led this past week to the arrest of eight other individuals and the seizure of more than $2.5 million worth of illegal drugs, police say. Read More
