May 16, 2025
Major Canadian cities are wrestling with how best to manage nightlife economies in a post-pandemic world. So, where better to have that conversation, than right here in Canada’s capital?
On May 20 and 21, Ottawa will play host to some of the foremost experts in the subject from across Canada and around the world. Canada After Dark is a two-day summit featuring 150 policymakers, music officers and nightlife professionals as part of Ottawa’s first-ever Capital Music Week.
The two-day conference is co-presented by the City of Ottawa's Nightlife Office and the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition. Everything happens at the National Arts Centre’s Fourth Stage.
It’s an industry event and the public are also welcome to attend. It’s not too late to get tickets.
Of course there will be music. Enjoy free lunchtime performances by artists from Ottawa, Mississauga, London, Hamilton, Kingston and Toronto at the Peter A. Herrndorf Place, just steps from the Fourth Stage, for Ontario Music City Showcases.
