Effective this September, RBC employees have been asked to be in the office 4 days per week. That’s according to a recent memo that was spotted by Reuters, which also says the rule doesn’t apply for roles that are either fully-remote or already in full-time office arrangements. As you might expect, staff members are not happy, raising concerns about additional travel times and transport-related expenses. Kristy Cameron digs deeper with Jamie Savage, who is the founder of a Toronto-based recruiting company called The Leadership Agency. In city news, alcoholic beverages are only allowed at city parks at the discretion of city councillors. But if you’d rather skip the permission line, you can head to the nearest federal one.
