Ontario fast-tracks process for U.S. doctors, nurses to work in province

Doctors and nurses licensed in the United States will soon be able to more easily practise in Ontario, under changes announced today by the minister of health.Sylvia Jones says the move will increase the number of health-care professionals working in the province.
Although the suspect in a firearm discharge in Petawawa in March remains at large, the investigation of that incident has led this past week to the arrest of eight other individuals and the seizure of more than $2.5 million worth of illegal drugs, police say. Read More
