At 19 years old, a wartime poster caught Roland Lalonde’s attention, pulling him from his quiet job as a clerk typist into the military.“I want you,” the poster read and a sergeant pointed at Mr. Lalonde as he walked along Albert Street in Ottawa. That moment changed the course of his life.
