OC Transpo summer service begins Sunday, June 29
OC Transpo’s summer service begins Sunday, June 29. This summer’s service includes adjustments for construction, seasonal service changes, and adjustments to some bus service schedules.
New summer schedules are available on octranspo.com. Before heading out, use the Travel Planner or Transit app to plan your trip.
Service adjustments for construction
As a result of road reconstruction and other infrastructure projects, the following routes may experience delays, detours, and additional travel time:
- Route 14 St-Laurent will be detoured along Montréal Road and Vanier Parkway to accommodate a watermain replacement project on McArthur Avenue between North River Road and Vanier Parkway.
- Route 66 will be detoured off Carling Avenue between Herzberg Road and Moodie Drive due to the removal of the former railway bridge over Carling Avenue.
- Route 25 will have a minor reduction to reflect reduced ridership levels normally seen on this route during the summer.
- Summer weekend service to seasonal destinations will return on Route 125 to the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, and to the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum on an extension of Route 8. Summer weekend service on Route 139 to Petrie Island started on Saturday, June 21.
- 600-series school routes, and school specific variants of regular routes, will not operate during the summer.
- Minor schedule adjustments will be implemented on Route 110 daily, and on Routes 8, 33, 63, 70, and 74 on Sundays. These adjustments will improve consistency in schedules across the affected routes.
