Canadian economy shrank by 0.1 per cent in April: StatCan

The latest Gross Domestic Product report from Statistics Canada shows the economy shrank by 0.1 per cent overall, while economists were expecting a slight increase.

The move effectively gives the provincial government control over the day-to-day decisions of those boards, taking it away from trustees elected in October 2022.
