Residents pan planned intersection upgrade in Manitoba

People in Carberry, Manitoba have voiced their opposition to a plan to upgrade an intersection where 17 people died in a bus crash in 2023. The Manitoba government is eyeing an RCUT intersection, which restricts left turns, but many residents want an overpass or wider median instead.
The Quebec government has approved a pilot project to allow retail stores in Laval, Gatineau and Saint-Georges to stay open until 8 p.m. on weekends.
