According to a new report from the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, the Carney Liberals promise to balance the operating budget through $13 billion in productivity savings. That could amount to the largest public service cuts in modern history – a 24 percent slashing of government spending. We dig deeper with Sahir Khan, the Vice-President of UOttawa’s Institute of Fiscal Studies and Democracy.
