Wages to increase as immigration slows, Conference Board says

The Conference Board of Canada expects wage hikes will pick up speed in the coming years as the pace of population growth slows down.The think tank said in a new economic forecast Monday that Canada’s labour market has been “resilient” this year despite tariff pressures from the United States.
A teen from eastern Ontario is accused of attempted murder and sex assault after a child was attacked last month.Ontario Provincial Police say they responded to a report of a missing child on June 24 in Quadeville, about 170 kilometres west of Ottawa.
