Hamilton police say 17-year-old wanted for ‘brazen’ daytime shooting

Hamilton police say they’ve identified a suspect in what they’ve described as a brazen daytime shooting in the city’s downtown core.
Police say a 17-year-old boy is wanted for charges of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.
The MV Harbour Princess hit rocks east of Point Atkinson near Lighthouse Park, with the marine rescue coordination centre notified of the crash around 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

The Canada Border Services Agency says it has arrested and charged three alleged smugglers after police in southern Quebec intercepted a truck carrying 44 foreign nationals in conditions an RCMP officer described as “horrific.” The agency said RCMP and Quebec provincial police intercepted the vehicle with dozens of people aboard near Stanstead, Que., overnight between Saturday to Sunday.
