Dozens more alleged victims come forward as Ontario man accused in real estate fraud faces new charges

A Brampton man accused of defrauding more than a dozen would-be homeowners in an alleged real estate scam is now facing additional criminal charges, and more people alleged victims have recently come forward.
The MV Harbour Princess hit rocks east of Point Atkinson near Lighthouse Park, with the marine rescue coordination centre notified of the crash around 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

The Canada Border Services Agency says it has arrested and charged three alleged smugglers after police in southern Quebec intercepted a truck carrying 44 foreign nationals in conditions an RCMP officer described as “horrific.” The agency said RCMP and Quebec provincial police intercepted the vehicle with dozens of people aboard near Stanstead, Que., overnight between Saturday to Sunday.
